Michael Holster - Pastor
Michael has been on staff at Second Baptist Church since 2003. He served as Minister of Music/Senior Adults from March 2003 until July 2012 when he was called as pastor.
He married Kathy in Canyon, Texas in 1978 while attending West Texas State University. Michael received a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1979. He later attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Arts in Religious Education degree in 1994. Kathy has retired from South Plains College after teaching Mathematics for 13 years.
Michael and Kathy have two sons and their families: Scot and Mindy Holster and Benjamin, and Dr. Sean and Mindy Holster, Macy, Andrew, Caleb, and Hannah.
Jon-Roy Ramsour - Music/Education Minister
Jon-Roy has been on staff at Second Baptist Church since July of 2012, serving as Minister of Music/Education.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music/Religion from Wayland Baptist University in 1973 and a Master of Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1978.
Jon-Roy married Mary Ruth Steele in 1968, and together they have three children: (Becky Kilby, Rachelle Small [Alan], Marc Ramsour [Holly], and eight grand-children, [Cydney, Cori, Kaysee, David, C.J., Kaylee, Kariss, and Kellen].
Along with family and ministry, Jon-Roy enjoys model trains, fishing and gardening.
Becky Vaughn - Secretary
Becky became the Secretary at Second Baptist Church September 2016. Not only does she serve as Secretary, but serves as our Women's Ministry Coordinator.
She was raised in the North Texas area, graduating from Berkner High School, Richardson, Texas.
Becky has 2 daughters. Jennifer Granberry and her husband, Will, live in Edna, Texas, with their two daughters, Brigitta and Piper. Another daughter, Cathrine McMahan and husband Justin, live in Levelland with their children Anson, Ryeton, and Georgia.
Becky enjoys traveling (especially to Scotland), scrapbooking, and enjoying time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
